When you apply for a student visa in Australia you have to have a valid OSHC - Overseas Health Cover, which has to cover you for the whole period of your student visa. This insurance will cover you if you have any medical issues during your stay in Australia.

In your quote we’ll give you the price for the student health cover as well, and during the application process we will arrange you this cover. If you already have an Australian address you’ll receive your OSHC card in about a week of your sign up, if you are overseas while you apply for the visa we’ll get  your card posted to our office and as soon as you arrive in Australia we’ll give it to you.
